Korea Site Quality Management Team Jae-han Kim- Q. What's your current job?
- To maintain stable quality and standards, I am in charge of managing products systematically throughout all phases of production. As this is a job that requires more understandings and knowledge regarding quality management problems, so it takes time for me to study a lot, and gain more experience. It would be hard at first, but it's a job that can improve myself every day. I think the biggest attraction in this job is being able to provide good products to customers through a precise quality test.
- Q. What are the qualifications and competencies required to perform your job?
- As the company plays a role in improving market competitiveness by minimizing product defects, quality control personnel should be equipped with quality-oriented and customer-oriented minds based on the knowledge of science and engineering fields. In addition, the ability to establish a quality inspection plan, proactive problem solving skills, and information collecting, analyzing, and improving skills are required.
- Q. When do you feel rewarding at work?
- Quality control tasks are directly linked to customers, which also affect the company's profits. A proper quality analysis has prevented a defect in advance. I also feel rewarding as a quality management officer when I find the root cause of the defect and stabilize the product quality.
- Q. What is your dream to realize with Valeo Kapec?
- Through J/V, our company has become a truly famous global leader. When I know that a product that I passed through my hand is delivered to customers around the world, I feel more responsibilities and prides. I want to work happily with our staffs through cooperation and to be a quality management leader that can contribute to gaining trust from customers by boasting our products.
